All we can say is YUM! If you're a chocolate lover (and who isn't!) then you are in for a real treat with these delicious fudge brownies. Leave the box brownie mix at the marketÌýand grab your Bromwell Flour Sifter, because we are going homemade and allÌýoriginal. Special thanks toÌý for theÌýrecipe andÌýpictures!

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of salted butter (softened)

1 cup granulated sugar + 2 tablespoons

3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extractÌý

2 large eggs

1/2 cup all purpose flour

makes: one 8x8 pan

Ìý

Directions:

•preheat your oven to 325 degrees (f) and line an 8x8 plan with parchment paper, or grease it.

•Start by mixing together your softened butter and sugar until it’s fluffy and light in color, about 5-10 minutes. Then add your cocoa powder and combine slowly ( + thoroughly) so you don’t get dusted with a cocoa cloud :)

•Once combined, add the salt and vanilla, give a quick mix. Then add one egg at a time, mixing thoroughly between each addition.

•Finally, add your flour after sifting. The batter will be much thicker than traditional brownie batter, don’t worry, that’s exactly what you want. Feel free to add chocolate chips if you’d like!

•Spread your batter in an even layer in your 8x8 dish. Bake in the 325 degree oven for 25-30 minutes, or till the edges are firming up (but the center should still seem underdone).

•Let the brownies cool for 30 minutes, or until firm, then slice. Top off with some ice cream or hot fudge (or both) and ENJOY!!
